A great crowd of young and seasoned tour vets were on hand to witness DSO perform and recreate a show from arguably the best year in Grateful Dead history, which for many fans still stands as 1977. The Valentine’s Day theme was in the air with a show which was ironically performed by the Grateful Dead at the “Moody” Coliseum on the SMU campus in Dallas, TX. Songs like Good Lovin, They Love Each Other, Looks Like Rain, Sunrise, Not Fade Away, and Sugar Magnolia were performed on that night back in 1977. DSO added a bonus filler of Bob Dylan’s She Belongs to Me at this show. A nice night of beautiful Florida weather and good ole’ Grateful Dead tunes in downtown Saint Petersburg, FL. It does not get much better. Keep on Truckin’
