An evening filled with fantastic rhythm, beats inducing dance and phenomenal stage performance is one that doesn't go unappreciated. Ending the short month of February at the Kinetic playground, several bands livened up the joint with music flowing into the early morning. A collaboration of bass, electro-funk, jazz and so many other additional genres gave the filled venue something to move to. Each artist performing this evening had a uniqueness and passion for the music which streamed from stage. The stage featured artists who created an undeniable environment filled with energy for the crowd to be surrounded in.

Bringing in some gripping electro beats to the evening was Savoy. The band traveling from Boulder, Colorado. Bringing their beats to the Midwest, this trio knows how to get the crowd moving with dance music. Remixing music to their own taste, they know how to add personality into the music they put forward. Beating the rhythm out into the audience with such skill. It was entertaining filling movement throughout the crowd throughout their set.

Didgy Slacker came out with a fresh sound that was re energizing to the crowd, added a vibe of hip-hop, mixed with psychedelic to the array of genres shared on this evening. The variety of beats remixed and put forth was one- of a kind and definitely music which made you move. The concentration and detail going into the music was very clearly seen. This Chicago based producer certainly did a great job getting the crowd going.

A band which has undoubtedly made a name for themselves in the Chicago scene is, The Coop. Well deserving for the hype these fellas hit the stage with pure talent and moving music. Tranquil, funky, jazzy and so much more the variety of influences forming this bands improvisational style is limitless. The flow which comes in the music is perfect, almost like the melodies are waving into the audience. Their music is peerless, true instruments driven with flawless passion. Down to earth and moving, music you really want to dance to and cant resist moving to. Instrumentally the guys on stage were shining. Powerful and driven percussions were played by Jacob Barinholtz, the display which is delivered through his playing has such a draw and pulls the music together. On stage strumming out the rhythm with the guitar is Danny Biggins as well as on a synthesizer also adding inspirational vocals to the sounds. Jared Shaw contributes a very unique and clear sound to the music with the jazzy sound brought out on the sax, along with the auxiliary percussions. Casting out the bass line along with saucing up the music with synth and a laptop, Cason Trager has a very powerful presence on stage. All together these musicians have a sound that is unforgettable and such terrific music to move you. Growing quite a following in the city, booking more and more shows as well as appearing at summertime festivals, this band is an experience that touches your soul with powerful and pure talent in their music and should not be missed.

Boosting up the dance floor with striking beats of energy is the producer Vibesquad, Aaron Holstein. Frequently entertaining the Chicago scene with his mixes and vibrations of dance music, this evening didn't fall short of the usual. The Kinetic literally erupts into movement when the music begins, such funk, jazzy tones, and vibrant rhythm that strictly effects the movement in your body. This artist has a very long background with music, making it his life, he truly knows how to deliver with his experience. Putting forward the music which is craved, a dance party was kicked off. Pumping up the crowd till the early morning, Vibesquad is a performer which has gathered a fan base in Chicago, and continues to spread his music which is well deserving of recognition.

Prepschool kept the mood up in the joint with a positive build -up of music. The music was movable and truly vibrant in the beats. A mix of electro- style funk, disco, house, this fella knew how to keep the music flowing and the crowd moving deep into the morning.

One positive attribute to the Kinetic Playground is that the music is always making the crowd dance, no matter what variety is being brought to the night. The evening was quite a success with an array of music that streamed into the audience. The mix of tranquil vibrations flowing through the venue, making it a night to introduce and praise the musicians which share their skills with the those who are ready to shake the night away with a variety of genres infused on one stage.
