Rothbury, Mich. – Today, Electric Forest (EF) released the names of over 25 artists that are new additions to the lineup, including details on The Curated Event Series, for the festival’s eagerly awaited return to the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan on June 25-28, 2015.  Tickets to the 5th annual music and camping festival sold out this past February in record time - less than 24-hours after the release of its 2015 artist lineup, and 3 ½ months earlier than ever before.

New artists added to the lineup include Wale, Galantis, Brodinski, Dam-Funk, Four Tet, The Fungineers, and many others.  These artists join the already impressive list of artists set to perform including The String Cheese Incident (performing 3 shows), BASSNECTAR, Skrillex, Kaskade, Flume, Big Gigantic, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Odesza, Paul Oakenfold, Lotus, Carnage, Carl Cox, G-Eazy, Flux Pavilion, Seun Kuti, Shpongle (Simon Posford DJ Set), Phantogram, Gramatik, Galactic with Macy Gray, and many more artists. The complete list of artists announced for 2015 can be seen HERE.

In conjunction with the announcement of additional artists, Electric Forest unveils its expanded 2015 Curated Event Series.  Each year Electric Forest collaborates with fellow musical tastemakers from around the globe to collude in curating the lineup and vibe of a certain stage on a given night, creating unique musical experiences within the festival itself.  For 2015, Electric Forest joins forces with curation partners Future Classic, Carl Cox & Friends, Bassrush, Crew Love, Communion, and Lowtemp to deliver even more musical depth and diversity.

Electric Forests 2015 Curated Event Series details are as follows:

Future Classic
Featuring Flume, Four Tet, Lido, Goldlink, Wave Racer, Mr. Carmack, Nadus
Future Classic – a record label, artist management team, touring agency, and music publisher out of Sydney, Australia - will bring a sample of groundbreaking sounds from around the world to EF’s Sherwood Court stage. While the music they release is taking the world by storm, the parties they throw are legendary. This curation marks the first-ever Curated Event at Sherwood Court, and will feature a closing set by Flume.

Carl Cox & Friends
Featuring Carl Cox, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Matrixxman, Saeed Younan, and more to be announced
Also on Tripolee, Carl Cox brings over 10 years of expertise in curating stages and events at major music festivals. Carl Cox & Friends' promise loads of finesse, longer sets, and creative production.

Bassrush
Featuring Flux Pavilion, Carnage, Datsik, Snails, Crizzly, Ed Rush & Optical, Minnesota, Koan Sound, Mt Eden, Son of Kick, Illenium, Vaski
Bassrush returns to Electric Forest’s Tripolee Stage showcasing a variety of bass music styles and artists. Since the '90s, the Insomniac sub-brand has evolved from its strictly drum & bass roots to include dubstep and other bass-oriented genres. The goal of Bassrush is to provide a platform to showcase bass music the way it should be experienced: with massive sound and full scale production.

Crew Love
Featuring Soul Clap, Wolf + Lamb, Midnight Magic (Live), Life on Planets (Live), Nick Monoco (Live) Slow Hands (Live)
EF’s Deep in The Forest curated event returns to The Forest Stage, this year presented by Crew Love. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Crew Love started as a concept based around three main ingredients; good peeps, great music and non-stop party vibes.

Communion
Featuring Autograf, Teemid, Kevin Garrett, Joseph, Delta Spirit, Devon Baldwin, Pan Astral
London-based outfit Communion, created by Ben Lovett (Mumford & Sons), Kevin Jones (Bear’s Den), and producer Ian Grimble, takes over The Observatory stage for one night. EF’s Communion curated event is inspired by the Communion Residency - a monthly showcase that provides artists with a platform for discovery across multiple genres and cities including NYC, DC, Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Louisville, & Rock Island.

Lowtemp
Featuring Gibbz, Russ Liquid, Adam Deitch (DJ Set), Freddy Todd, Branx
Launched by Forest favorite, DJ/Producer Gramatik, Lowtemp is an independent record label "created by artists for artists." Look for Lowtemp to heat up The Forest Stage.

Hailed as one of the "20 legendary world festivals to see in your lifetime," (Distractify) Electric Forest 2015 promises to deliver the ultimate festival experience with its unparalleled integration of music, art and community.

At the heart of the festival, the Sherwood Forest houses specially commissioned art pieces and creatively themed environments that enhance the natural beauty of the event’s majestic wooded location.
