NEW YORK, NY (November 11, 2014) –The String Cheese Incident announced their Winter Carnival headline tour today.  They will play several Incidents in 2015 including Seattle, Eugene, Boise, Reno and Chicago as well as Sin City Incidents in Las Vegas.   Fan Club members can buy tickets on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00am MST; the public on sale date is Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, 2014 through the band’s website: http://stringcheeseincident.com.

The String Cheese Incident is currently on the road on their East Coast headline tour and will return to Broomfield, Colorado and the 1stBank Center for the third year in a row to play a series of New Year’s Eve headline Incidents – December 29, 30 and 31. The String Cheese Incident had a big 2014 headlining several major festivals including Electric Forest in Michigan, Lockn’ Music Festival in Virginia and Wakarusa in Arkansas.  They also headlined their three-night Halloween extravaganza Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida October 31 - November 2.

Song In My Head, The String Cheese Incident’s first studio album in nine years, was released on April 29, 2014 through SCI Fidelity Records/Loud & Proud Records.  The album was produced by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and includes 10 new songs written collaboratively by the group over the past few years.  The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

The String Cheese Incident formed in Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado in 1993.  Over the years, the band, Bill Nershi (guitars and vocals), Michael Kang (mandolin, violin, guitar and vocals), Keith Moseley (bass and vocals), Michael Travis (drums and percussion), Kyle Hollingsworth (keyboards and vocals) and Jason Hann (percussion), has played over 1,500 Incidents, including their own festivals and Incidents across the country and they have been hailed for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, community spirit, philanthropic endeavors and their innovative approach to the business of music.
