Electric Forest - returning June 28-July 1, 2012 to the beloved Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan - today unveils the “2-Day Sat & Sun Ticket,” a reduced rate ticket that allows access to the show on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1. 2-Day Sat & Sun Tickets are limited in quantity - get them now at www.electricforestfestival.com while they last. View the just-released 2012 Electric Forest Stage Schedule here.

Electric Forest’s local philanthropic initiatives are in full bloom for 2012. The festival’s annual Food Drive returns this year as a tribute to cherished Electric Forest neighbor, the late Mr. Roy Price. Beginning in 2008, Mr. Price worked tirelessly with festival Food Drive partners Conscious Alliance (at the first two ROTHBURY Festivals and 2011’s inaugural Electric Forest Festival) helping to distribute a whopping 90,300 tons of food! Food donations went directly to those in need in the following local communities: Rothbury, Oceana County, Shelby, Montague and Muskegon. This year, the Electric Forest Roy Price Memorial Food Drive is hosted in his honor. Visit www.electricforestfestival.com for more information.

Electric Forest’s Music In Schools Program works to help keep music part of the curriculum in Michigan public schools. By donating money and instruments to local school music program, Electric Forest is bridging the gap between diminishing school budgets and music program resource needs. The Music In School’s Program also offers hands-on experiences to music students including performance opportunities at the festival, as well as on-site mentor opportunities, where students interested in music production “shadow” Electric Forest professionals during the event. Electric Forest 2012 Music In Schools recipients are Shelby High School and Montague High School. The Shelby High School Jazz Band will perform at this year’s event. Look for them on Saturday at 12:30 PM just inside the venue site entrance.
