EOTO will kick off the 2012 with 4 headlining performances on the west coast including High Times Medical Cannabis Cup at LA Center Studios in LA, The Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, Blu Nightclub in Stateline, NV and at the Cal-Neva Resort in Crystal Bay, NV (Tahoe area). The dynamic duo also just announced the first string of their festival announcements with the Winter Warp Drive in St. Louis, McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Arizona, the Wanee Music Festival in Live Oaks, FL, Summer Camp in Illiinois, as well as their fourth appearance at Wakarusa in Arkansas.
Since 2008, Michael Travis and Jason Hann of EOTO have taken on a brutal tour schedule packing in nearly 150+ national shows a year. Armed with thousands of performance hours, it is no surprise the duo has become masters of a skill very few have yet to imagine - creating 100% improvised electronic music laced with dubstep, house and psychedelic trip-hop live before your eyes. By incorporating real instruments alongside high-tech computer programming and the tools of a traditional DJ, EOTO is packing theaters and festivals alike with a one-of-a-kind dance party that changes night after night.
Truly a sight to behold, EOTO brings an incredible array of equipment to the stage to create a unique musicial experience like no other. A double headed monster, the duo effortlessly produces each sound and beat while mixing and networking the sounds in real-time. With no two shows alike, fans have come to expect the unexpected. Changes in mood, energy, and inspiration are reflected by rhythmic and melodic shifts in the music as EOTO makes their way through a plethora of tools and techniques. It’s a dance marathon, but everyone’s in it together. Because EOTO starts fresh every night, the band’s evolutionary progress has been thrust into hyperspeed, eclipsing standard acts who return to their dusty catalog for every performance. If maintianing a near non-stop touring schedule is not enough, the band is also vying for a spot in the coveted North American Dubstep Music Awards with votes taking place on-line.
