Jefferson, MD (June 23, 2011) Walther Productions announces today its name change to ‘All Good Presents’. For the founders of the All Good Festival institution, concert promoters of hundreds of club and theater shows in the Baltimore and DC metropolitan area over the past 15 years and creators of the Amsterdam- based Jam in the Dam festival, the updated nomenclature makes perfect sense; they’ve launched a new website at www.allgoodpresents.com to mark the occasion.
“With the continued growth of both Walther Productions and the All Good Festival, we’ve decided to change our name to All Good Presents” says Tim Walther. “It’s my intention to bring the positive energy that surrounds the All Good Festival into the indoor club environment. We’re planning to do more events in the region under All Good Presents to continue the ‘All Good’ vibe all year long.”
The first major event for All Good Presents features internationally renowned DJ Bassnectar at an indoor mini-festival called ‘Bass Center IV’ held September 24 at the DC Armory. The complete list of All Good Presents confirmed summer and fall events is listed below. Another benefit to fans is the lowest ticketing service fees in town for advanced tickets sold via All Good Presents’ fan club ticketing engine.
Formerly Walther Productions, now All Good Presents, produces over 120 shows a year in the Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia markets with a diverse list of nationally-touring artists such as Yonder Mountain String Band, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Umphrey's McGee, Dark Star Orchestra, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave, Mike Gordon, Lotus, SOJA, Galactic, Xavier Rudd, Soulive and dozens of others in venues such as 9:30 Club, Rams Head Live, State Theatre, Recher Theatre and the 8x10.
Celebrating their 15th annual All Good Festival, founders Tim Walther and Junipa Contento have produced and grown the grassroots namesake event every summer since 1996, hosting 25,000 music fans on a remote mountaintop in West Virginia. This summer’s lineup features Furthur featuring Phil Lesh & Bob Weir, Primus, Pretty Lights, John Butler Trio, moe. and over three dozen additional acts on three stages July 14-17 at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, WV.
All Good Presents is also the production company behind the world-renowned Jam in the Dam: a multi-day, multi-room extravaganza held at the legendary Melkweg in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on March 14, 15 and 16, 2012. Celebrating music in an intimate atmosphere, the sixth edition of Jam in the Dam features the music of moe., Mike Gordon (of Phish), Dark Star Orchestra, Lotus and Keller Williams. Each artist will play extended sets all three nights in one of the two concert halls, all under one roof.
