April 28th, 2011. Ocean City, Maryland. Americana band, the Electric Co., will premier their debut album, “Whiskey Tonight”, at Seacret’s Nightclub, in Ocean City, Maryland with a CD Release Party. Joining The Electric Co. in the Morley Hall, on this festive occasion will be New Grass phenoms, Chester River Runoff and rock powerhouse, Lower Class Citizens. In between sets, the pillar of the turn tables, DJ Wax, will be on hand to set the mood right. Admission is free and there will be CD’s and T-shirts availible for sale. Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8pm. This event is sure to be one of the favorite parties this spring. If you work, take off. If you have kids, get a sitter. Get your friends together and be there. This event is NOT TO BE MISSED.
This event introduces the Studio, recorded material of this Ocean City-based band, for the first time. It features original compositions by its members and guest performances by Jenn Grinels, Meredith Clark, and Kyle Coffee. Recorded, mixed and mastered by the multi-grammy winning team of Frank Marchand, III and Randy LeRoy, at Airshow Mastering, in Takoma Park, MD, “Whiskey Tonight” is already receiving National exposure. The Album was featured in Americana Rhythm Magazine and is receiving ample airplay on WOCM, 98.1fm. The Electric Co. will be performing the album in its entirtey as well as crowd favorites.
