About Eufórquestra Originally from Iowa City, IA, recently relocated to Fort Collins, CO, Eufórquestra has been touring more than ever and is continuing to take its cutting edge music in different directions. Their self-proclaimed “Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk” brings a rhythmic wall of sound, integrating such genres as Afro-beat, Reggae, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Soca, Funk, Salsa, and Dub. This is music that ignites dance floors across the country with a sound that “explodes, dances and melts in your ear with sheer bliss” (Chris M. Slawecki; www.allaboutjazz.com). Having shared stages with Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident, Page McConnell of Phish, John Brown’s Body and The Motet, Eufórquestra has been making waves as one of Regions’s hottest bands. The relentless touring, and release of their third album Soup will alone brings fans across state lines to this year's festival.
About Cornfed Productions The company is in it's first year and was formed as a sister company to Eufórquestra LLC to run their festival operations. It is run by former band member, Eric Quiner (keyboardist) and local land owner Jerry Hotz. The two have always had a big hand in producing the event. As Eufórquestra's tour schedule has become more rigorous Eric and Jerry now have taken over the event in it's entirety with the exception of the talent selection. |
