I come to you highly recommended by Sandy Yaguda of
Jay and the Americans, who was my boss in the Broadway, show Beatlemania.
My drumming goes far beyound the reach of The Beatles,as I am influenced,
By Hal Blaine, Earl Palmer, Al Jackson, Jim Keltner, Max Weinberg, Motown.
If it's from the 20th Century, there’s a great chance, I know it already.
I have divided my time between Office Management Services, as well.
I am currently unemployed (Office wise) and free to travel (ANYWHERE I AM NEEDED)
My name is Rick Bloom.
Originally from the Boston area, I was in my 2nd year as house band,
at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge Mass a British Invasion/Oldies band when,
I was hired by the Beatlemania Company; on March 12, 1978.
In September 1978, the Original cast selected me, to replace their drummer,
until the end of the New York run of the show in October 1979
since that time I have been singing drumming; learned guitar; and done recording sessions.
I am currently available to you as back up drummer if you so desire.
Attached here is some proof that this is on the level, as there are too many of us now.
Hope you and yours, are in the best of health,
and having a prosperous year
(Entertainment never quite recognizes a recession)
Sincerely,
Fredric (Rick) Bloom
